Matoush Uranium Project

In 2006, Strateco set up the Matoush uranium project that is now considered as one of the highest-grade uranium projects in the world. The Matoush project is located in the Otish Mountains at about 275 km of Chibougamau (Quebec, Canada).

Strateco pursues in a quick and sustained manner its objective to increase the uranium resources on its wholly-owned Matoush property. It aspires to become the first company in Quebec and the first so-called junior company in Canada, during the present cycle, to advance a uranium exploration project involving underground exploration operations. Because of the tremendous potential of the Matoush project, Strateco aims for commercial production towards late 2013 or early 2014.
