Matoush Uranium Project

In 2006, Strateco set up the Matoush uranium project, now considered one of the highest-grade uranium projects in the world. The Matoush project is located in the Otish Mountains, about 275 km north of Chibougamau and 210 km northeast of Mistissini (Quebec, Canada).

Strateco is quickly and steadily pursuing its goal of increasing the uranium resources on its wholly-owned Matoush property. It is aspiring to become the first company in Quebec and the first so-called junior company in Canada, in the present cycle, to advance a uranium exploration project involving underground exploration work.
