Guy Hébert, President & CEO of Strateco since April 2000

Guy Hébert has been active in the international mining industry for the last 35 years. He was the architect of over $400 million in financings for various gold, uranium and base metals mining projects in Canada and overseas. Since 1980, he has brought three mines into production. Mr. Hebert earned his bachelor's degree in geology from the University of Montreal in 1973 and his MBA from the University of Sherbrooke in 1977.

Guy Hébert was President and CEO of Audrey Resources Inc. from 1985 to 1992, during which time he brought the 2,500 tpd polymetallic Bouchard-Hébert mine (Zn, Cu, Au, Ag) in Quebec into production. The mine was taken over by Cambior in 1992 and renamed the Bouchard-Hébert mine in recognition of Mr. Hébert’s achievements.

Mr. Hébert was President and CEO of Lyon Lake Mines from 1986 to 2001, during which time he brought the Beta Vargas mine, a 1,000 tpd gold mine in Costa Rica, into production. Permitting and reclamation were a success.

As President of Aiguebelle Resources Inc. from 1980 to 1985, he brought the 1,500 tpd Yvan Vézina underground gold mine in Quebec into production. The mine became part of Cambior's organization in 1986.

Jean-Pierre Lachance, Executive & Exploration Vice President of Strateco since April 2000

Jean-Pierre Lachance has more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry, and has held various management positions with public and private companies in Canada and overseas. Mr. Lachance earned his bachelor's degree in geology from Université Laval, in Quebec City.

Mr. Lachance was Vice President, International Development, for Lyon Lake Mines Ltd. from 1994 to 1998 and Executive Vice President from 1999 to 2001. Between 1996 and 2001, he was also President of Novontar S.A., a subsidiary of Lyon Lake Mines Ltd. in Costa Rica. He was responsible for bringing Lyon Lake's Beta Vargas mine into production and for site reclamation after the mine's closure in 2000. He was also Vice President of Altavista Mines Inc. from 1994 to 2000, and was responsible for all the company’s exploration activities.

Pierre H. Terreault, Vice President, Operations & Engineering, of Strateco since April 2008

Pierre H. Terreault is a mining engineering graduate from École Polytechnique in Montreal and has a Master's Degree in Project Management from Université du Québec en Abitibi Témiscamingue. He is a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec, Ontario and Newfoundland. He has close to 30 years of experience in various mining sectors, has held a range of management positions and started multiple mining projects in Quebec and Newfoundland.

Mr. Terreault was Mine Manager for Opinaca Mines (Goldcorp) from 2007 to 2008 and General Manager for the Kiena Complex (Wesdome) from 2004 to 2007. Between 1998 and 2003, he was General Superintendent for Ross Finlay 2000. From 1996 to 1998, he was Vice President of Operations for Roycefield Resources in Newfoundland. Between 1994 and 1996, he was General Manager for Talpa Mining Contractor after acting as Engineering Manager for the same company from 1992 to 1994. Finally, he held various positions in production and mining engineering for Lac Minerals Ltd. from 1983 to 1992, and in mining engineering for Camflo Mines from 1981 to 1983.

Yvon Robert, Vice President, Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Strateco since July 2011.

Mr. Robert has 19 years of experience in the financial industry. He is a member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.

Prior to joining Strateco's team, Mr. Robert held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Opti-Coating Laboratories Inc., as well as of Finance & Administration Director at Vision2 International Inc. (formerly Leader Industries Inc.). He began his career as a Junior Auditor at Samson Bélair/Deloitte & Touche, and then moved on to become Senior Auditor and finally Certification and Consulting Services Manager.

Gabriel R. Maurice, Director, Human Resources and Health and Safety for Strateco since June 2008

Mr. Maurice has over 15 years of experience in health and safety and over 10 years in team management and human resources. He recently received his Business Administration Degree from Université du Québec.

From 1976 to 2005, Mr. Maurice worked for Noranda Inc., a mining company in Matagami. He started as an underground worker, but quickly moved up in the company and became responsible for prevention in the health and safety department from 1979 to 1991. He was a health and safety advisor from 1992 to 1994, the labour relations supervisor from 1995 to 1998 and the labour relations and emergency measure coordinator from 1999 to 2000. He rose to human resources coordinator in 2001 and human resources superintendent in 2002, where his main function was to manage the various teams. He later managed the Bell-Allard mine closure. From 2004 to 2006, he worked for Century Mining Corp. as the human resources superintendent, where he set up the human resources department and supervised the hiring of 200 employees. From 2006 to 2008, he worked for Wesdome Gold Mines as the human resources superintendent, where he set up the human resources department and supervised the hiring of 170 employees.

Caroline Hardy, Environment Manager for Strateco since November 2008

Ms. Hardy has 12 years of experience, including seven years as an environmental engineer. She received her geology degree in 1996 and her engineer degree in 1997 from Université Laval.

She started her career working as a junior geologist for SOQUEM, a mining exploration company with properties in the James Bay area, from 1995 to 1997. From 1997 to 1999, she was a junior engineer for Petro-Canada in Calgary, Alberta, where she was responsible of petroleum exploration on lands in Alberta and British Colombia.

She became more involved in the environment in 2000, when she began working for Inspec-sol Inc. From 2001 to 2006, she worked as an environmental engineer for Golder Associates Ltd., where she was in charge of environmental and hydrogeology studies. She was also responsible for environmental monitoring for a number of landfill sites (Alberta and Ontario), and supervised a team of junior engineers, technicians and contractors.

She started working for Poly-Geo Inc., a firm specialized in applied geoscience and environment in 2006, and was made a partner in March 2007. Among other things, she implemented a quality management system (ISO 9001) and was responsible for a range of management and corporate development activities, as well as performing geological and environmental tasks.

Jonathan Lafontaine, Chief Geologist of Strateco since May 2007

Mr. Lafontaine has eight years of experience in the mining industry, working for well-known companies like Areva. He received his geology degree from Université Laval in Quebec City in 2001, and his Master's degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2007.

Mr. Lafontaine started his career as a geologist with Areva, formerly Cogema, specializing in the uranium exploration and mining in the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan, from the winter of 2002 to the spring of 2004. He worked on site as a geologist analysing core samples, and was in charge of planning and implementing a geochemical sampling project. In 2005, he was Project Manager for Geodex Minerals Ltd. in New Brunswick. The experience he gained managing a small team led to a job as a project geologist for IOS Service Geoscientifique Inc. in 2006, where he supervised field work and managed a group of 20 geologists and technicians.
